The remote control lets you operate VerseAir from a phone or tablet — navigate verses, trigger songs, send stage messages, and more. No need to be at the main computer. Secured with a 4-digit PIN.
Setting Up the Remote
- Click the Remote Control QR button in the left panel
- A modal shows a QR code, URL, and a 4-digit PIN
- Note the PIN — you’ll enter it on the remote device
- A new PIN is generated each session for security
Connecting a Remote Device
- Scan the QR code or type the URL into your phone/tablet browser
- Enter the 4-digit PIN
- The remote control interface loads
- You now have full control of VerseAir
Available Controls
- Verse navigation — Previous/Next verse buttons
- Auto-advance — Play/pause for verse ranges
- Song selection — Pick songs and navigate between sections
- Stage messages — Quick presets:
- “Wrap Up”
- “5 Min”
- “Running Over”
- “Elder Waiting”
- “Mic”
- Custom stage messages — type any message (60 char max)
- Lower thirds — display speaker names, announcements, or emergency messages
- Schedule items — activate items from the service schedule
- Theme switching — change backgrounds and display themes
Tips
- Give the PIN only to authorised operators (worship leader, tech team)
- Multiple remotes can connect simultaneously
- Works on the same local network — no external internet needed
- The remote auto-reconnects if the connection drops briefly
- Great for the worship leader to control lyrics from the stage, or the pastor to advance verses from the pulpit
