Projector Display Themes
9 built-in display presets control how verses appear on the projector: Classic Gold, Broadcast, Cinematic, and more. Select a preset for an instant professional look, then customise it to match your church’s branding.
Operator UI Themes
8 interface themes change the VerseAir operator interface (what you see on the computer):
- Classic Dark, Modern Light, Stained Glass, Minimal, Nature, Royal, Warm Ember, Midnight
- Switch instantly from the theme selector
- These do not affect what the congregation sees on screen
Customising Verse Display
Open the display customization modal for full control:
- Choose a quick preset as a starting point, or start from scratch
- Verse Text: font (10 options), weight (Light to Bold), size (1.4–5.0rem), colour, italic toggle, line height (1.0–2.4x), text shadow (None, Soft, Strong, Gold Glow, Hard Outline)
- Reference & Translation: font, size, colour, divider show/hide, divider colour
- Container: background style (None, Solid, Gradient, Glassmorphism, Backdrop Blur, Soft Shadow Card), colour, opacity, corner radius, max width
- Animation: 15 entrance animations (Fade In, Slide Up/Down/Left/Right, Scale Up, Typewriter, 3D Flip, Bounce, Blur In, Dissolve, Drop In, Expand, Glow Reveal), duration (0.2–1.5s)
- Click Apply to Projectors to save, or Reset to restore defaults
Dynamic Backgrounds
11 animated background options for the projector:
- Gradient Drift, Particle Float, Light Rays, Starfield, Abstract Waves, Bokeh, Ember Rise, Northern Lights, Gentle Rain, Candle Glow
- Intensity slider (0–100%) controls how prominent the animation is
- Upload custom images (with Ken Burns pan/zoom effect)
- Upload videos for looping motion backgrounds
- Browse library for pre-made backgrounds
Custom Fonts
- Upload .woff2, .woff, .ttf, or .otf font files
- Custom fonts appear in all font selectors throughout the app
- Match your church’s brand typography on the projector
Saving & Sharing Themes
- Save your current theme configuration for later
- Load any saved theme with one click
- Export all themes as a JSON file
- Import themes from a JSON file
- Share theme files between VerseAir installations or across your multi-campus setup
Tips
- Start with a preset, then tweak — it’s much faster than building from scratch
- Use high contrast between text and background for readability
- Test your theme from the back of the room — if you can’t read it, increase font size
- Subtle backgrounds (low intensity) work best — they shouldn’t distract from the text
- Save your finalised theme so you can reload it if settings get changed accidentally
